Game Recap
After the Tiger bats were quieted in the 1st Game Friday, the Fishers Tigers Varsity Baseball team (2-1/0-0) responded in a big way in Game 2 Friday scoring 11 runs and clobbering 16 hits. The Tigers defeated Bearden (TN) on their home field 11-1 in 6 innings.
Five Tigers had multi-hit games. Sophomore Luke Duermit led the way with a 3-3, 3 RBI effort that included his 2nd homerun of the season. Seniors Brandon Yoho and Jacob Totman each contributed 3 singles. Yoho added 2 RBIs and Totman 1 RBI. Sophomore Caleb Brenczewski delivered 2 hits, including an RBI double, while Sophomore Andy Bennett add 2 singles and an RBI.
Sophomore Ryan Metz (1-0) pitched 5 scoreless innings in his 1st Varsity win. Metz held Bearden to 3 hits, while striking out 5. Junior Mike Folta pitched the 6th inning in relief.
The Tigers finish their Tennessee trip with 2 games on Saturday. They will play Sycamore (TN) and Station Camp (TN) at Farragut High School.
