Meet Recap

Today the Lady Tigers raced at White River Elementary in the IHSAA Sectional Tournament. With 5 of the teams being ranked in the top 15 in the state, it was going to be a tight race. But Fishers were Tiger Tough and competed strong finishing 2nd to out race Noblesville, HSE, and Westfield. WAY TO GO TIGERS!!!

Debbie Shera ran fearlessly again staying with the front pack throughout the race and finishing 7th overall. Miya Wai came on strong in the second half of the race and crossed the line just behind her in 8th place. Also moving up nicely and placing in the top 20 was Tessa Kraft in 11th place. Corinne Yorkman had a strong finish kick and was 21st with her teammate and senior Kamya Lapsley in 24th. Also racing today for the Tigers were Brynn Urban in 28th and Emma Gillespie in 41st.

Next week the Tigers will compete in Regionals at White River Elementary again. Thank you to all of you who came out to support them today. Hope we see an even bigger crowd next weekend! GO TIGERS!!!!!
