Game Recap

Saturday the JV Tigers defeated the visiting Pike Red Devils in a tightly contested game 28-26. Though the Red Devils threatened often, Fishers never trailed in the game. The Tigers jumped out to an early lead with a touchdown pass from Marcus Roux to Reece Boland. After a Pike score, the Tigers put together a drive that was punctuated by an Alec Green rushing touchdown. Later, Sal Cahoon scooped a Josh Ibey forced fumble and glided down the sideline for a defensive score. Pike continued to battle back with scores of their own, but the Tigers controlled the second half of the game with a punishing ground attack that featured Matthew Noble as the primary ball carrier. The final score for the Tigers came on a Marcus Roux quarterback sneak. Jack Phillips was 3 for 3 on conversion kicks and gave the defense great field position throughout the game.
