Game Recap

The JV Tigers improved their record to 3-0 by defeating Noblesville on a perfect day for football. Fishers began the day on a positive note by scoring on the first offensive possession of the game. Marcus Roux scored on a one yard quarterback sneak to cap a drive that also saw Roux hit Thomas Adams for a long completion. The Tiger defense settled in early and hassled Noblesville on each possession of the first half. Brandon Benbow and Eric Thomas amassed several tackles to lead the defense. The Tigers took a 7-0 lead into halftime. Bryce London ended the Millers first drive with an interception, and the Fishers offense scored on its first offensive possession as Roux found Reece Boland at the back of the end zone to increase the Tiger lead. For good measure, Grant Whetsel later snagged an interception of his own. The shutout was solidified as Jonah Dunnuck scooped a fumble (forced by Josh Ibey) and scored after scampering 40 yards. The offense ground out the clock with a host of running backs including Alec Green and Nathan Paxton. The Tigers travel to Hamilton Southeastern next Saturday morning.
