Tigers place 2nd at West Lafayette Unified Track Invitational

The Fishers Unified Track and Field team earned a 2nd place finish on Saturday at the West Lafayette Invitational. The Tigers scored 102 points, scoring behind champion Harrison High School’s 117 points. Scoring in their heats for the Tigers were: Timothy Jackson 2nd 100m and 2nd long jump; Jack Smith 2nd 100m; Mary McGuire 3rd 100m; Kellen Bridgeforth 4th 100m; Jacob Sanderson 5th 400m; Josh Booze 4th 400m; Nick Taulman 2nd 400m; Gillian McCann 5th 400m; Anthony Bishop 1st long jump; Robin Brown 2nd long jump; Evan Barker 3rd long jump; Leyton Dale 7th shot put; John Bixler 4th shot put; Sabrina Carmickle 4th shot put; Michael Warmelink 5th shot put. Also, the 4×100 relay team of Mary McGuire, Michael Warmelink; Leyton Dale and Anthony Bishop finished 3rd. In addition, Laura Godleski finished 1st in her exhibition heat of the 100m.
