polar plunge

On March 4th, over 70 members and supporters of the Varsity Football, Rugby and Unified Track teams took the plunge in the frigid Eagle Creek Reservoir to support Indiana Special Olympics.  The Freezin’ Fishers Tigers raised over $9600, most by any high school team at the Indy plunge and the 74 plungers was also the largest team at the plunge.  Additionally, the Tigers won the Spirit Challenge and junior Jaydon Hudson chewed his way to a dominating victory in the hot wings eating contest.  A very special thank you goes out to football coach Rick Wimmer, rugby coach Curt Trout and all of our parents for their support of Indiana Special Olympics.  It was a record-setting day for the Tigers and we look forward to an even bigger turnout next year.
