Meet Recap

The boys track & field team improved their varsity dual/triangular meet record to 4 – 0 this evening by scoring 69 team points over the North Central Panthers (64 points) and the Lawrence Central Bears (34 points).

The Tigers distance crew (4 x 800, 1600, 800, 3200), jumpers (long jump & high jump), and pole vaulters led the way scoring 54 of the teams points. Individual event winners for the Tigers were:

Peter Werling, 1600 meter run ( 4:33.89 ) & 800 meter run ( 2:01.27 )
Trevor Thompson, 3200 meter run ( 9:30.98 )
Noah Rogers, long jump ( 21’0.75″ ) & high jump ( 6’2″ )
Tyler Grace, pole vault ( 11’0″ )

In addition, the Tigers won the 4 x 800 meter relay in a time of 8:21.53 (J. Cerone, E. Meyer, A. Worley, & T. Thompson).

The Tigers will take to the track again next Tuesday when HCC foe and the 4th ranked Avon Orioles visit Reynolds’ Tigers Stadium.
